‘writing is easy, you just
have to sit in front of a paper and wait for drops of blood to appear on your
forehead’

One of the biggest problems you face in a profession that demands your creative faculties, is inspiration.

Writing is not easy and writing on demand even tougher! Add to that the million do’s and, don’ts you have to follow (pretty understandable), and you have quite a job on your hands.

And to top it off without warning, your inspiration deserts you.

Prized as it is, inspiration is not a possession you can recover easily.

I mean you can’t go to a police station and, register a report. Nor can you post missing fliers all over the office. Moreover if you talk about it to other people they start doubting your mental faculties.

So you sit all alone and speculate, ‘what made it leave in the first place?’

Routine? Yup a real killer. Once you get stuck in a rut, inspiration starts planning its escape. Then comes pressure. Once the brain gets too heated up, it ceases activity. Expectations? Yup mostly from yourself ‘hey I could do better than that.’ Treading a path towards perfection, a destination impossible to reach and one which does not suffer trespassers.

The above exercise is a good way to occupy a panicky brain. But these answers offer no incentives to the still eluding inspiration.

So you do the next best thing. Take a break!

You read, listen to music, sing, dance, watch TV or simply observe the vagaries of life.

And in the end you do get inspiration.

Unfortunately it is to write such brain-numbingly boring blogs which are likely to put even the most hardened reader to sleep.

Shit back to square one.

Well thats really well thought of avantika . writing is literally a very difficult job at hand when ur subject matter and duration gets limited . its something that comes out of ur heart flowing , meandering its way through the serpentine labyrinth of one's imaginations . something that cannot be put a tab to . Well still accepting challenges of timeframe is as much a thrill as is writing meaninglessly in ur own restrictions . So u cannot even deny the privilege of discreet aimfull writing where topic and time both are pre-set.

Lady on the block... Nice article. Normal topic but presented in nice way.... insipiration is nothing but a force which energies people to deliver. inspiration can be taken from very small small things, finally we ourselves are biggest source of inspiration. SELF MOTIVATION
