Roota hai saala, Dum nahiin hai

Hmm early mornin on the bus got me this review from a fellow passenger in the back seat.
The person in question was Shahrukh Khan as the host in the first episode of KBC3.

There were two of them discussing him and then one started mimicking Amitabh deep baritone and the other SRK's stammering from Darr. Hmmm pretty effective in proving their point and, good entertainment too.

I had seen the show too and actually agreed in part, SRK was nothing like Amitabh. He was casual, sweet and had a different style. And that was the whole point of getting him to host the show.

I mean why would Star shell out what it had to get a poor copy of the original Don? SRK was taken in coz the show needed a change, it was losing its sheen. And if SRK did his best to let his individuality show, he was actually doing a good job!! Why be a second rate copy of someone else if you can be first rate yourself?
