Blah...Womans Day

I dont celeberate Womans Day....... and I dont understand the concept . Men and woman are two sides of the coin called humankind. True men have ruled but today woman are trying very hard to be treated as equals. Some use the extreme of feminism and others by avoiding to fall in the cliches and being treated as second class citizens.

And then one day in the year is dedicated to woman.........as their day.

And the whole process of equality goes for a toss again.Designating a day like this can only mean one thing, one of the two genders is not as great as the other. So does that mean that men celebrate this day to hail the natural superiority of women over them? Much as I would love to say yes to this question, it is not true.

Would there ever be a mens day? No....not ever...............even the idea sounds completly preposterous.

Womens day is a stoic reminder of the lower status that women suffer in society, of the refusal to accept them as part of the mainstream. Giving them priveledges for one day just an excuse to keep them quiet for the rest of the year. It is a reminder of the glass ceiling that exists in society. My advice to girls who wish me on this day is; read between the lines and, see beyond the discounts...........should you be really feeling grateful for something so offensive?

Nice one.... But The concept of "Womans Day" may not be as you think. Imagine few decades back. The woman force was strong but think they were mainly strong involved in family and there were quite a less woman who were leading the other areas. But day got changed... from few years back scenario got changed, both man and woman are reciprocal.

It is nice that woman like you are thinking this way because of the old mastermind had planned for future. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Women's_Day

But as you feel I too feel it is no longer required.... It is seen in various organization that Woman just dressed well on woman day, it implies what??????? Do we really need to continue with "Womans Day"???????
